Ultrasound Technician

Job Summary:


We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Critical to this role is strong communication and strong collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various specialties including Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, and Operating Room.
• Perform patient assessments and administer medications as prescribed.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Manage case work and provide hospice care for patients with advancing age, frailty, or serious illness.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of working.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Minimum of two years' experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
• Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience in multiple nursing specialties such as ICU, ER, or Operating Room.
• Additional certifications relevant to specialty areas.
• Advanced training in hospice or palliative care.

Special Considerations:

• Work may require collaboration across multiple units and specialties.
• Strong emphasis on communication and teamwork.
• Ability to manage care for patients with complex and serious health conditions.

Scheduling:

• Typically day shifts with potential for varied scheduling depending on unit needs.
• Weekends may be required as regular day shifts, 12-hour duration.
• No on-call requirement.
