Job Responsibilities

As a Sales Producer for Rick Mottern State Farm Agency, you'll help individuals and families protect what matters most while building long-term relationships in the community, including: Generating new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and follow-up, identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate insurance solutions, developing leads, scheduling appointments, and closing sales, building relationships with customers and creating referral opportunities, working alongside an experienced mentor and sales team to sharpen your skills, helping clients with auto, home, life, and financial services products

Requirements

Competitive and driven, self-confident and decisive, coachable and willing to learn, friendly, outgoing, and people-oriented, comfortable taking initiative and figuring things out, motivated by performance, achievement, and income potential, excited by a fast-moving environment with variety every day, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build trust and connect with people quickly, self-motivated with a strong work ethic, property & casualty license (or willingness to obtain), life & health license (or willingness to obtain), bachelor's degree preferred, but not required for the right sales-minded candidate

Compensation

Base salary + uncapped commission performance bonuses. Realistic first-year earnings: $60,000 – $80,000+. Top performers have significant upside potential
