Chief Clerk

Serve as primary clerk for scanning and archiving public water system records (current and historical) in compliance with records retention policies. Organize and maintain both physical and digital records for the department. Scan, upload, and archive documents according to state and departmental guidelines. Track routine documents submitted under the Lead and Copper Rule (LCR) regulations and enter tracking data into the Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS). File documents in both electronic and hard copy formats for accurate recordkeeping. Assist with general administrative office tasks, including mailing, answering telephones, and filing as needed. Follow supervisors instructions regarding policies and objectives, and perform other duties as assigned. Utilize Microsoft Office and office equipment (scanners, printers) to fulfill daily work requirements. Maintain attention to detail and organizational standards. Foster effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, and the public.
