Providing services to the Aerospace, Medical, Military and Commercial markets with precision chemical milling on fabricated components since 1988, we specialize in complex and precise chemical milling for build to print and custom projects on a wide variety of materials.

THE POSITION: We are a fast-growing company seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting functions and operating procedures. We are seeking an individual who is excited to learn, take on new challenges, and can work in a fast-paced growing environment. This position provides an opportunity to expand and grow your career in an open and collaborative team environment. This is a full-time position supporting both our Glassport and Donora facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:  

• Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation and posting of journal entries, proper classification of revenue and expenses, account analysis and reconciliation, closing books, setting up new accounts, and capital review
• Prepare general ledger balance sheet reconciliations including bank accounts, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, debt and intercompany activity
• Analyze expense accounts to ensure complete and accurate reporting of operating results
• Prepare monthly financial statements to include balance sheet and income statement as well as other reports as required
• Track and prepare depreciation schedules
• Prepare and submit state sales and use tax returns
• Support the Financial Controller with preparation of Board of Directors quarterly reporting and annual budgeting
• Assist with ESOP accounting and forecasts
• Maintain full compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in accordance with the Company Code of Conduct
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
• Minimum of five years’ experience, understanding of GAAP reporting
• Organizational skills and adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Demonstrated knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to expert Excel skills
