BG Staffing is seeking a dependable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join a multifamily community in Sparks, NV 89431 . This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in maintaining apartment homes, community amenities, and resident satisfaction through quality workmanship and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Perform a variety of general maintenance tasks, including:
  • Basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
  • Electrical diagnostics and repairs
  • Appliance maintenance and repair
  • Carpentry, drywall repair, and general property upkeep
• Assist with unit turns, make-readies, and apartment preparation for new move-ins.
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and shared amenities.
• Respond to resident service requests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and company expectations.
• Support the onsite maintenance team with daily property operations.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of general maintenance trades, including plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry.
• Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
