Dental Practice Manager

Folsom, CA | Private Family Dental Practice

We are a well-established and thriving private family dental practice in Folsom, CA , and we are looking for an experienced Dental Practice Manager to join our team.

We're looking for someone who is positive, patient-focused, organized, and motivated to help lead the practice while supporting both our patients and team.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Oversee the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the practice
• Ensure office policies, procedures, and protocols are followed
• Monitor and manage Accounts Receivable
• Present treatment plans, explain financial policies, and discuss payment options with patients
• Process and follow up on insurance claims
• Identify ways to improve office efficiency, productivity, and overall workflow
• Ensure OSHA, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained
• Lead staff meetings, trainings, and daily huddles
• Review schedules for errors or inconsistencies and work with the team to make adjustments
• Manage schedule blocking and unblocking to maximize productivity
• Monitor unscheduled treatment and ensure patients receive timely follow-up
• Help motivate the team through goals and office challenges
• Conduct team check-ins and assist with annual performance evaluations
• Support the team with other duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of dental office experience preferred
• Experience working across multiple areas of a dental practice
• Previous management or leadership experience is a plus
• 2- or 4-year degree in business, healthcare management, or a related field preferred, but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable making decisions and finding solutions independently
• Patient-focused and team-oriented
• Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
• Motivated to help the practice and team reach their goals
• Flexible Monday–Friday availability, with hours generally falling between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM depending on the day
