Job Title RESEARCH STUDY TECHNICIAN, School of Medicine, Pulmonary Center Location: Boston, MA, United States Job type: Full-Time/Regular Salary Grade: 43 (Initial range $17.49–$22.08 per hour) Overview The Boston University Pulmonary Center, Bosmann Lab, is recruiting a Research Laboratory Technician to support projects on the molecular immune response to infections such as ARDS, pneumonia, and sepsis. The role involves working with animal models of disease, mouse genotyping and colony management, as well as cell cultures, immunology methods, and molecular biology techniques. Responsibilities Perform and assist in animal models of disease (e.g., mouse survival surgery) Conduct mouse genotyping and manage breeding colonies Carry out cell culture and immunology assays Execute molecular biology assays such as ELISA, PCR, Western blotting, and lung histology Provide basic lab management and organization support Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field 0 to 3 years of experience in a research laboratory setting Experience with animal work and molecular biology techniques is preferred Benefits & Opportunities Training opportunities related to cutting‑edge research projects and experience working in an international team of scientists and physicians.
