Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1840 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: IV competency.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge experience.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s in nursing preferred.

Unit Details: Adult/geriatric medical-surgical patient population. Common diagnoses/treatments include COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, diabetic complications, wound care, pancreatitis, sickle cell crisis, end-of-life care/hospice, falls, weakness, sepsis, and infection. Uses Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, Kangaroo feeding pumps, and PCA pumps.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call.

Floating Requirements: As needed, float to surgical, neuro, and intermediate units; will take med-surg-level patients.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
