Senior Associate | PE | Tax (New York City Metropolitan Area)

Our client is a financial services firm. They seek a Senior Associate to join their Manhattan, NY office.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and tax information and prepare supporting schedules for fund, investment, and corporate tax reporting
• Review investor tax reporting packages for accuracy and completeness before distribution
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on federal, state, and international tax filings and related compliance matters
• Monitor tax deadlines, required filings, and payment obligations to ensure timely completion
• Maintain tax basis records across individual investors and related entities
• Calculate preliminary tax estimates and applicable entity-level tax payments
• Review annual international tax and information reporting requirements for accuracy and completeness
• Manage investor tax package distribution and maintain accurate investor demographic and tax documentation
• Support the development and documentation of tax policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Respond to tax inquiries, regulatory notices, audits, and investor information requests in coordination with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• 5-7 years of PE tax experience
• Big 4 or National experience preferred
• Asset management or alternative investment experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly analytical
• CPA preferred
