The role As a Member of Corporate Development focused on M&A, you are a key part of Arca's growth engine. We grow by acquiring RIAs typically in the ~$500M-to-$2B+ AUM range and placing our platform underneath them. Your job is to find these firms, build real relationships with the people who run them, and carry deals from the first coffee to close. This is a high-ownership role with a direct line to the Head of M&A and senior leadership. You own relationships, shape the pipeline, and see your work in every firm we bring on. Acquisition drives company growth, so the deals you close set the pace for everything else. What you will own Sourcing and relationships: cultivate proprietary relationships with RIA founders and principals, building a pipeline of targets in the ~$500M-to-$2B+ AUM range, earning trust long before they transact. Deals, end to end: outreach, qualification, valuation, diligence, structuring, and close. You carry a deal through all stages. Analysis behind the call: build financial models and valuation work that shape deal terms and go/no-go decisions; contribute a clear point of view on what a firm is worth. Diligence across the company: coordinate workstreams across finance, legal, compliance, and operations to move deals forward. Acquisition playbook: help sharpen sourcing and closing as we scale to four or five acquisitions this year and beyond. qualifications 2+ years in private equity or corporate development with hands-on experience finding and evaluating acquisition targets. Ability to build a real pipeline and read a firm to price it; strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with commercial judgment. Self-starter who finishes; able to move quickly in an early-stage environment where playbooks are still being written. Curiosity about AI and the wealth-management industry, and openness to rebuild wealth management with AI. Familiarity with the RIA or wealth-management landscape is a plus, not a requirement. Strong people skills: able to build trust with founders over months, provide candid feedback, and fit within a small, low-ego team culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr
