About the Role

Are you an experienced early childhood educator who loves the magic of the toddler years?

We are seeking a dedicated, nurturing Toddler Teacher to lead our 1-year-old classroom. In this role, you will introduce our youngest learners to an enriching hybrid curriculum blending Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and play-based learning . You will be supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant to maintain a safe, loving, and structured environment where mobile infants and toddlers can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Age-Appropriate Curriculum: Plan and deliver engaging, sensory-rich, and play-based lessons tailored for 1-year-olds.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment tailored to toddler milestones and exploration.
• Milestone Tracking: Monitor individual child development, guiding early social-emotional growth and fine/gross motor skills.
• Parent Communication: Keep parents and guardians updated with warm, effective daily communication regarding milestones, routines, and classroom activities.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with your teaching assistant and collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain compliant records regarding classroom management, incident reports, and developmental progress.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in early childhood education (Preferred).
• Expertise: Strong, foundational knowledge of infant/toddler development principles.
• Skills: Excellent classroom management, lesson planning, and age-appropriate behavior redirection techniques.
• Attributes: High levels of patience, creativity, exceptional communication, and a true team-player mindset.
