About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Medical Group Operations to lead the administrative and operational functions of a multi-specialty medical group. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the operating support functions necessary for the efficient operation of the medical group. This includes ensuring the effective operation of practices in line with business plans and budgets, collaborating with physician leadership on policy and procedure administration, and managing vendor relationships. The role also involves leading the negotiation of key contracts for physician services, aligning payment methodologies, and demonstrating a commitment to the growth and development of physicians in administrative and leadership roles. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or MHA preferred, and at least 10 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physician practice operations, finance, and strategic planning, as well as experience in presenting to Boards of Directors and driving a culture of high operational performance. Key skills required include ethical behavior, effective communication, innovation, teamwork, leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving.
