MediPro is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Torrance, California.

"- RNs with minimum of one (1) year of recent Progressive care experience in a Level 1 Trauma Institution in a metropolitan city with a diverse population.
- Required Certifications: CA RN license, AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS, NIHSS, MAB or CPI, LA City Fire and Life Safety Card (must be LA City)

RNs will provide an intermediate level of care for patients who are not stable enough for a general medical-surgical floor but do not require the full intensity of an ICU.
Patients commonly include those recovering from major surgeries, serious medical conditions such as heart failure, respiratory issues, or infections, or those transitioning out of the ICU after stabilization.
The PCU is equipped for close monitoring, often including telemetry for cardiac observation, frequent vital sign checks, and rapid response to changes in condition.
RNs will provide continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring, frequent assessment of patient status, administration of medications and IV therapies, wound care, and pain management.
