Our client is seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist to become part of our large credit and collections team. This role is ideal for a professional with business-to-business collections experience who enjoys managing a high-volume portfolio, building customer relationships, and contributing to a collaborative team environment. What You’ll Do Manage a portfolio of 1,000+ commercial customer accounts Conduct collection activities through phone and email communication Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and account issues Collaborate with sales, customer service, and accounting teams Maintain accurate account documentation and collection notes Utilize Excel to analyze account information and manage collection activity What We’re Looking For 3+ years of B2B collections, accounts receivable, or credit experience Experience managing a high-volume account portfolio Strong customer service and relationship management skills Intermediate Excel skills, including filtering, sorting, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reporting Why You’ll Love This Opportunity Financially stable, established Portland-area employer Hybrid schedule with only one required in-office day per week Competitive compensation: $60,000-$65,000 401(k) with 3% company match Medical, dental, and vision coverage Short-term and long-term disability insurance Three weeks PTO to start Career advancement opportunities within a large credit organization Location Requirement Candidates must reside within the Portland Metro area and be able to work onsite on Thursdays.
