Your work directly affects case outcomes, client confidence, and the firm's reputation for efficient, high-quality defense.Performance ObjectivesOwn end-to-end discovery on assigned matters: draft and track written discovery, organize productions, and maintain privilege logs so responses meet court deadlines without last-minute scrambles.Build and maintain case files and exhibit databases that attorneys and experts can rely on for depositions, motions, and trial within 24 hours of request.Coordinate expert workups—calendaring, document pulls, and exhibit prep—so expert reports and testimony stay on schedule and aligned with case theory.Prepare deposition and trial notebooks, witness outlines, and demonstratives that let attorneys walk into the room fully prepared.Track court deadlines, e-filing, and service so no appearance, filing, or statute is missed across a busy construction docket.Support attorneys with client updates, status reports, and hearing logistics that keep clients informed and cases moving from intake to resolution.Environment & ResourcesYou will work with experienced construction litigators in a collaborative, team-oriented Denver practice. The firm covers Colorado Supreme Court dues-related support where applicable, CDLA membership pathways, underground parking, and a culture that values work-life balance alongside excellent results.Essential QualificationsDemonstrated litigation paralegal experience (construction, insurance, or civil defense strongly preferred) with ownership of discovery and trial prep.Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines, e-filing, and large document sets with accuracy and sound judgment.Strong written communication for discovery, correspondence, and internal case summaries.Comfort working with experts, vendors, and attorneys in a fast-paced boutique environment.Colorado court and e-filing familiarity, or the ability to get fully up to speed quickly.
