Successful implementation turns sales into cash and minimizes the risk of bad debts.We are looking for a full-time Credit Analyst or Senior Credit Analyst to join the Credit Team. They are expected to be a conceptual thinker with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be flexible, adapting to change and shifting priorities while demonstrating excellent organization and time management skills. They must also have excellent computer and problem-solving skills. They will demonstrate sound professional judgment and the ability to balance risk mitigation with business growth, while acting as a trusted partner to the Credit Manager, Sales, and Operations by providing thoughtful analysis and recommendations. They will take ownership of assigned responsibilities while proactively identifying opportunities to improve credit processes and outcomes. Most of all, they will be committed to the RedBuilt "Why" and dedicated to helping the company minimize the risk of bad debts.Essential Functions:Perform key Credit Analyst responsibilities which include filing preliminary lien notices, lien waivers, billing paperwork, and supporting administrative tasksEvaluation and approval of credit/project information up to a designated credit limitResearch and resolve customer credit inquiriesCollection of outstanding accounts receivable while protecting lien rightsServe as a subject matter expert for credit policies, lien rights, and collection practicesContribute to the development and continuous improvement of credit proceduresParticipate in cross functional discussions related to customer risk, disputed accounts, or process improvementsAdditional duties as assignedJob Requirements, Skills, and Abilities:Strong working knowledge of credit approval, invoicing, payment processing, collection, and cash application proceduresSolid understanding of lien laws and legal aspects of construction financeDemonstrated business acumen with an understanding of how credit decisions impact cash flow, sales, and customer relationshipsExcellent communicator who partners effectively with sales personnel, external customers, general contractors, project owners and lendersDemonstrates professionalism, maturity, and confidence in handling sensitive or high stakes credit matters with both internal and external stakeholdersFantastic organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and accommodate competing priorities.Self directed, with a proactive mindset toward process improvement and collaborationInterest and aptitude in expanding knowledge of credit policy, risk management, and construction finance trends.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Teams, and other related computer applications.NetSuite experience a plus and/or proven ability to adapt easily to new ERP softwareEducation and Experience:Minimum 4 years credit/collection experienceConstruction Industry knowledge or experience, particularly with construction financing, draw schedules, progress payments, and lien rights.Bachelor's degree in a related field a plus, or additional equivalent experienceReports to: Credit ManagerFLSA Classification: Non-ExemptJob Type: Full-timePay: $62k - $80k Annually DOE; Paid Hourly and Overtime Eligible as a Non-Exempt positionWork Location: Boise, ID (with hybrid work opportunity subject to manager approval)Benefits:11 Paid Holidays (includes 2 Floating Holidays of your choosing)Paid Time OffPaid Community ServiceHealth Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)FSA/HSA Options401k Retirement Plan with Employer MatchingOpportunity for bonusFlexible Dependent Care AccountEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Company Paid Basic Life and AD&D InsuranceCompany Paid Short Term DisabilityVoluntary Long-Term DisabilityVoluntary Life and AD&D InsuranceIf this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!RedBuilt is an equal opportunity employer.Must take pre-employment drug test and a background check which includes criminal records to be considered for the position.Please note that the job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required for this role.
