Echo Technologist - Lakeport, CA

Advance your career in cardiac imaging with a specialized Echo Tech assignment focused on delivering exceptional patient care. This opportunity spans 13 weeks and requires expertise in echocardiography, including proficiency with GE Echo machines and Change Healthcare PACS.


Schedule:

• Weekend Shift options:
  • 3x12s (Friday-Sunday)
  • 4x10s (Monday-Thursday)

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification required
• ARDMS or CCI credential in echocardiography
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in echocardiography, with demonstrated skills in both standard and advanced imaging protocols
• Solid experience with GE Echo imaging equipment
• Familiarity with Change Healthcare PACS for image management and reporting
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently during weekend or extended shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality echocardiograms, including transthoracic and, if qualified, transesophageal studies
• Operate GE Echo machines and utilize Change Healthcare PACS for accurate image capture and storage
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nursing staff, and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document imaging findings carefully, adhering to facility protocols and industry standards
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality throughout all interactions and procedures
