Position: Embedded Real-Time Software Engineer (Ada)
Location: Orlando, FL Overview
We are seeking a skilled Embedded Real-Time Software Engineer with experience in Ada programming to join a high-performing engineering team based in Orlando, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across the full software development lifecycle, working on complex real-time systems in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and testing
• Design, develop, and maintain real-time embedded software using Ada
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including systems, hardware, and test engineers
• Support integration and validation activities involving both hardware and software components
• Contribute to formal qualification and verification testing processes
• Continuously improve development practices, tools, and workflows
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in real-time embedded software development
• Hands-on programming experience using Ada
• 3+ years of experience in software integration and testing involving hardware/software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Linux and/or VxWorks operating systems
• Proven ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, including GitLab CI/CD pipelines
