Job Description
Job Title: Rad Tech General Imaging

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute or surgical experience
License: Valid state license
Certifications: ARRT, BLS

Must-Have:
Techs with highly competent surgical and procedure experience.
Experience in General, Portables, and Mid-high level hospital environments.
Comfort with performing fluoroscopy procedures, including ERCPs, bronchoscopies, and urology cases.

Description:
This position is within a Level III Trauma Center.
The unit comprises of 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoro rooms, and various clinics.
The average patient load is 15-20 per tech per day.
Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department cases, covering all age ranges, including pediatrics.
The department is supported by a lead tech and has radiologists on-site 24/7.
There are 14 techs on day shifts, 7 on evenings, and 3 on nights.
Hospitalists and intensivists are also available 24/7.
Technology used includes EMR systems and various x-ray equipment.
The schedule involves a weekend rotation, with one call shift per week.
Holiday coverage is required for one holiday per contract.
Shift times are flexible, usually varying by 1-1.5 hours.
The unit environment is fast-paced, with high acuity patients.
