Chicago, IL, United States 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1885 Salary Range: $90,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually Overview Technical Sales Territory Manager – responsible for selling boiler and cooling tower industrial water treatment chemicals to a variety of industrial customers within the Chicago territory. Unlimited commission potential. Key Responsibilities Sell water treatment chemicals to industrial customers, including Healthcare, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Commercial & Institutional, and Wastewater sectors. Maintain and grow existing customer base while making cold calls to develop new business. Run chemical tests, analyze water, document results. Interact with and troubleshoot mechanical equipment such as pumps, tubing, piping, valves. Program electronic equipment such as cooling tower chemical controllers. Work closely with a team of experienced salespeople to achieve territory goals. Qualifications At least a four‑year technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Biology, or Mechanical Engineering. Advanced degrees preferred. Minimum of 3 years technical sales experience related to water treatment chemicals. Experience selling to a variety of industrial customers and knowledge of the Chicago industrial market preferred. Military or technical background (e.g., Navy Nuclear Propulsion, Army CBRN School) considered advantageous. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $90,000 to $120,000+ in the first year for qualified candidates. Unlimited, no‑cap flat rate commission. Car allowance: $675 per month. Corporate 401(k) plan.
