Vehicle Acquisition Specialist
Use provided software to analyze market conditions and trends related to pre-owned vehicles. Review vehicle condition reports to assess their overall state. Determine wholesale and retail prices based on market value and vehicle condition. Work closely with Used Car Managers and the Service Department to purchase vehicles for the dealership. Talk to customers and offer a hands-on, hassle-free appraisal of their vehicle. Handle shipping vehicles to the dealership. Inspect and accept vehicles arriving on-site, resolving discrepancies regarding condition inspections. Create and execute a reconditioning action plan to prepare vehicles for retail.

The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist will need a combination of skills, qualifications, and personal attributes. Here are the key requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. As a specialist, you should be extremely self-motivated, setting and achieving targeted goals. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive an exceptional customer experience are crucial. Demonstrated communication and prospecting abilities are essential. Excellent organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with technology and a desire to work with it can be beneficial. Minimum of 3 years experience in automotive retail operations. Clean driving record, California sales license and the ability to pass a background screening
