Job Summary:
The organization is seeking qualified Labor and Delivery nurses for a Maternal Infant Unit located in Richmond, Virginia. These positions are for nights shifts, and candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The role involves providing care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the childbirth process.

Job Details:

• Location: Richmond, Virginia
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, including every third weekend with 12 hours of call per 4-week schedule
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of labor experience, 2+ years of labor experience with a history working in a labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) unit with high birth volumes, EMR experience in Meditech, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and AWHONN Fetal monitoring certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-volume LDRP units and vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patients, and newborn and postpartum care
• Additional Information: This facility employs GE fetal monitors, and dress code consists of navy blue scrubs; MIU nurses wear pink badges for infant security
