Position Reg Respiratory Therapist Location Tampa: St. Joseph's Hospital – Main Requisition ID 154846 About the Role The Respiratory Therapist is a clinical professional who utilizes the department's scope of services to access, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team. Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight. Conducts diagnostic testing and provides Emergency and Adult Critical Care respiratory support. Performs Intubations and A-line placement, maintaining proficiency and credentialing. Certifications & Licensures Required RRT (Respiratory Therapy License) Active NBRC Credential for RRT CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) ACLS (Cardiovascular) – within 6 months of hire PALS (Pediatric) – Preferred Education Required Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy – required Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred Experience Required New graduates from an accredited respiratory care program are welcome to apply.
