We’re seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support a collaborative school-based OT team in a contract position near Burleson, TX. This full-time role offers an appealing blend of on-site and remote work options—spend three days each week supporting students in District, then take advantage of potential work-from-home flexibility for the remaining two days, based on caseload needs.

Your start date will be after August 18, pending final contract approval. Elementary and secondary sites operate between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, but as a contractor, you’ll have autonomy: complete your responsibilities efficiently, and enjoy control over your daily schedule (occasional ARD meetings may require attendance during those operating hours). Join a friendly, established team including two full-time OTs and a COTA, with a welcoming caseload across up to four campuses serving special education students.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license (Texas)
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Familiarity with student evaluation, IEP participation, and development of individualized treatment plans
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other therapists, teachers, and staff
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Self-motivated with excellent time-management abilities to thrive in a flexible environment

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and delivering interventions for students served under special education
• Maintaining thorough, timely documentation and reports
• Participating in ARD/IEP meetings as needed
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement student goals
• Managing a caseload of approximately 200 students, with support from a seasoned team
