Lathe Set-up & Production Machinist

Company Treske Precision Machining, Inc. is a precision machine shop serving Space & Defense, Aerospace, Electronics, and Commercial customers. We are technology driven, using robotic machine loading and inspection, and provide training for all employees. Position Shift: Weekday Swing, 4–10 or 5–8; other weekday off‑shifts may be available. Major Duties and Responsibilities Operate CNC lathes and Swiss type machines Set‑up and first part prove‑out Review and understand blueprints, customer specifications and GD&T Perform quality inspection of parts Perform G and M code editing Troubleshoot complex jobs Other duties as assigned Desired Skills and Experience Experience with Okuma, Mori NL, and Tsugami machines Programming lathes (live tooling and Swiss) with Esprit (a plus) Setup and production experience in close‑tolerance machined components Ability to troubleshoot and apply appropriate machining solutions to new and current processes (a plus) Multitasking ability in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Excellent work ethic and dependability Ability to work overtime as required Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Adaptability to ever‑changing production environments Education and Job Experience Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience High school diploma or GED Job Conditions / Physical Requirements Work performed in factory settings Exposure to manufacturing environment such as noise, dust, and outdoor conditions Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, negotiate a flight of stairs, and move about facilities Must be able to lift light to moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
