For more information about Modine, visit DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced and driven HR Generalist to support our growing manufacturing facility. In this role, you will partner closely with plant leadership to deliver core HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, training support, employee relations, and compliance. This is a hands-on role for someone eager to grow their career in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee RelationsAct as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and conflict resolutionManage and resolve complex employee relations matters, including conducting fair, thorough investigations when requiredCoach leaders on performance management, disciplinary actions, and effective employee communicationEnsure consistent application of company policies and employment legislation, mitigating organizational risk through proper documentationEmployee EngagementLead and support employee engagement initiatives that enhance workplace culture and overall employee experienceDesign and implement programs that promote recognition, inclusion, well-being, retention, and moralePartner with business leaders to assess workforce trends and recommend strategies to improve engagement and productivityHRIS Management & HR OperationsMaintain, optimize, and support HRIS systems to ensure accurate employee data and smooth lifecycle transactionsManage onboarding, transfers, promotions, and terminations within HR systemsGenerate, analyze, and report on key HR metrics to support business decisionsIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes through automation and system enhancementsEnsure data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with privacy regulations, serving as a liaison with IT and system vendorsTalent Acquisition, Onboarding & OffboardingSupport full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and documentationAssist with onboarding activities, including company orientationSupport offboarding processes, including severance calculations, documentation, and exit interviews, and summarize feedback for follow-upAdministrationFacilitate the Employee Committee and support related initiativesCreate, update, and maintain HR policies and procedures in alignment with best practicesPrepare reports on key HR metrics and workforce dataPrepare job grant applications and support HR projects and initiativesRequired Education & QualificationsPost-secondary education in Human Resources, along with a minimum of 7+ years' experience in a multi-cultural environment, preferably manufacturing. Member of, or working towards a CPHR designation. Solid understanding of Provincial employment and Human Rights legislation. Strong proficiency in Microsoft office.
