Travel Physical Therapist - $1,836 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Physical Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. Job Overview Travel PT works 40 hours per week on 8‑hour shifts. The role includes patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with the healthcare team while enjoying competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities Conduct physical assessments using standardized tests and clinical examinations. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement treatment plans with exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate and maintain specialized PT equipment safely. Document evaluations, interventions, outcomes accurately in the medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe environment following infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development. Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions to community or home settings. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with Pennsylvania regulations. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Experience in physical therapy; new graduates welcome. Additional certifications or licenses relevant to the position. Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication. Excellent written and oral English communication. Reading comprehension and following written and verbal instructions. Basic PC skills. Physical, Technical, and Mental Requirements Ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), and perform fine manipulation. Work effectively with diverse personnel while maintaining a positive attitude. Handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines, and maintain concentration under pressure.
