Product Specialist in Food Science/Engineering

Product Specialist Position Overview The Product Specialist is an integral part of the Product Team responsible for supporting projects and relationships both internally and with outside vendors. As part of the responsibilities, the Product Specialist will help manage timelines and tasks and help to coordinate meetings and other project team members toward on time and on budget completion of specific projects. This position will be located in Collierville, Tennessee Job Responsibilities Include: Prepare project organization and communication documents Assist Director of Supply Chain in tracking the progress of projects and manage timelines Effectively and accurately communicate project information to management and other team members Work with vendors to manage project details and implementation Participate in quality control/specification management process Assist in identification and management of key raw materials Assist in management of vendor relationships Other responsibilities as assigned or requested Organizational Alignment Reports to Director of Supply Chain Works closely with Director of Quality on supporting key initiatives Responds to all members of project teams including consultants, marketing, accounting, warehouse, sales, and IT as needed Performance Measures Supports project team to timely completion of projects Completes tasks with minimal supervision Achieves support from internal and external colleagues Supports Director of Supply Chain in all areas Qualifications Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in technical, business or nutrition field 4-6 years of experience supporting projects Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite of products, including proficient knowledge of MS Project Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills Effective communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills Proven ability to work both independently and with a team Self starter Other There may be some travel both in the US and to foreign countries required from time to time Salary TBD #J-18808-Ljbffr Juice Plus+
