MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. The role requires maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education, delegating patient care priorities, and providing direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, working from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, for three 12-hour shifts per week. A 48-hour guarantee is also available.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in an MS/Telemetry setting.
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and leadership skills to ensure safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.
• Delegate and supervise patient care activities performed by assigned personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Arizona RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
