Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Ambassador in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $13.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, offer directions and assistance as needed, and communicate with location personnel regarding security-related concerns. Support a caring and professional environment by observing activity, documenting security-related events, and following post orders and/or client guidelines. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Have customer service experience, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
