Electronic Technician TraineeLocation: Katy, TX 77493Employment Type: ContractAbout the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electronic Technician Trainee to join our client's team in the industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring on-time delivery of equipment, improving maintenance efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Maintenance Base.ResponsibilitiesMaintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and compliant with the reliability centered maintenance strategy.Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record materials and supplies, labor costs, and equipment maintenance performance history.Participate in the continuous improvement culture and initiatives within the MB to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).Support failure investigations and continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.Perform maintenance, testing, and repair of electronic and electromechanical equipment.Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to troubleshoot issues.RequirementsMinimum: 2 years relevant experience, or equivalent education (2-year technical degree in electronics technology) / military maintenance background.Ability to use multimeters, basic hand tools, oscilloscopes, and measuring devices.Strong computer skills and ability to navigate business systems.Basic understanding of electronics and some mechanical aptitude.Preferred QualificationsExperience with rotary steerable or similar oilfield equipment.Soldering experience (ISO certifications a plus but not required).Who We AreSGF Global is an integrated talent solutions provider, offering staffing, recruitment, Employer of Record (EOR), nearshore, and consulting services across a wide range of industries in 35 countries.
