Area Director Business Development - Denver, Colorado

Labcorp seeks an Area Director of Business Development for the Denver, Colorado region to lead commercial strategy, manage sales teams, and drive growth across the Mid-America Sub-Division. The role involves overseeing regional business execution, building high-performing sales organizations, and establishing strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

Formulate and align subdivisional commercial strategy with divisional growth objectives
Coach sales managers toward achieving growth and retention targets across multiple selling environments
Hire, develop, and build high-performing sales leadership teams with accountability and inclusiveness
Drive data-driven decision-making through analytics, dashboards, and KPI analysis
Partner with operations leadership to onboard new clients and health systems for customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
7+ years healthcare sales experience
3+ years people management experience including skip-level reports
Clinical diagnostics or life sciences sales background
Knowledge of health systems, managed care, and value-based care models
P&L management and financial acumen
Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Compensation: $160,000 - $180,000 annually plus annual sales incentive plan
