Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team at Jackson Premium Outlets.

In this leadership role, you'll partner closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, deliver exceptional customer experiences, coach and develop associates, and ensure smooth daily store operations. You'll play an important role in creating an engaging shopping environment while helping your team achieve success.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and is ready to grow their management career.

What You'll Do

• Partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations
• Drive sales performance while achieving individual and team goals
• Deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable shopping experiences
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store reflects our brand
• Support inventory management, stock replenishment, and loss prevention initiatives
• Ensure compliance with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and operational policies
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused work environment
• Serve as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of retail leadership or supervisory experience 
• Proven ability to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Experience using POS systems and basic computer applications
• Footwear, fashion, or specialty retail experience is preferred
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to bend, reach, climb ladders, and move merchandise as needed
