This position will require interaction with auditors and inspectors. You will assist in ensuring adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS). And this is how you'll do it:Complete verification on documents associated with the Food Safety and Quality Management ProgramWork with operations, warehouse, maintenance, and quality to ensure compliance with the Quality Management SystemAssist in updates to the QMSAssist in any integration plans to QMS/ERP systemsEnsure QMS is compliant with MARS standardsOversee and trend data for key KPIsSupport other sites as requiredTravel as required up to 20%Serve as a backup for compliance manager and SLC quality managerYou will work cross-functionally with the Quality, R & D, Maintenance, Operations, Human Resources, and Leadership team to:Communicate all information essential to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System to all departmentsLeverage technology such as RedZone, QMS, and ERP systems to manage compliance of the Quality Management System.Report on status of audit readiness and compliance to the QMSEscalate issues as neededWhat You'll Bring· You have strong verbal and written communication skills· You have excellent organization skills with attention to detail and deadlines· You should be able to work cross functionally with other departments· You thrive in a rapidly changing environment and can multi-task· Genuine in your desire to help make the world a Kinder place, committing to always spreading and celebrating kindnessYou have…A minimum of 3 years of food manufacturing or CPG experienceBachelor's DegreeProficient with Microsoft Office, SharePointGFSI certifications; PCQI certification, Auditor CertificationKnowledge of HACCP, FDA, FSMA, GMP, and GFSI requirementsFamiliarity with applicable regulatory agenciesPersonable, professional, and productive within a team environmentAbility and desire to think independentlyDesire to consistently learn and be challengedWhat We Offer YouOur team members' physical and mental health is important to a thriving workplace.
