Job Description

Title : Receptionist

Rate of Pay : $17.00 per hour + benefits and perks

Status : Non-Exempt, PRN (As-needed)

Sedgebrook Senior Living is seeking a friendly, hospitality-focused Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. This role provides front desk coverage on an as-needed basis, including PTO coverage, weekends, holidays, and other staffing needs.

Looking for extra income and flexibility? This opportunity is ideal for students, retirees, stay-at-home parents, or anyone seeking supplemental income while working in a welcoming senior living community.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist residents, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
Answer and direct incoming calls
Maintain visitor logs and issue badges
Perform filing, scanning, data entry, and general office support
Create flyers, notices, and newsletters using Canva
Support emergency communication and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED
Customer service, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Basic Canva experience
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
