Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design individualized therapy strategies aimed at helping them meet their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure all-encompassing, holistic patient care
• Teach Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic techniques to support continuous improvement at home
• Monitor and Document Progress: Keep track of clinical developments and modify treatment as necessary, guaranteeing patients remain on a positive path

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Encouragement for continued education or pursuit of post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
