1st Shift Forklift Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 17.90 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:00pm)

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

• Operate sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the facility.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks, ensuring accurate material handling.
• Transport materials to and from production lines, restocking as needed.
• Remove finished products from production areas and stage them for shipment.
• Perform inventory verification, including checking labels, packing slips, and shipping paperwork.
• Utilize scanners and computer systems to accurately track all material movements.
• Adhere strictly to FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management procedures.
• Assist with packaging, palletizing, banding, shrink wrapping, and staging materials for shipment.

1st Shift Forklift Operator Qualifications:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move consistently for an 8-hour shift.
• Capable of lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Proficient in safely operating sit-down forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• Must strictly follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Opportunity for cross-training in various material handling functions, including shipping, receiving, and production support.
• Preferred Experience: Previous experience in forklift operation, warehouse, inventory control, or general material handling.
