Tax Accountant

Job Description We are looking for an Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company. Responsibilities Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, and payroll taxes. Preparing complete and accurate individual tax returns. Support and assist teammates as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in accounting or other related fields 1-year experience with Thomson Reuters software 1-year experience preparing tax return Perfessional, detail and deadline-oriented Effective communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work a flexible schedule High School Diploma or equivalent Knowledgeable and experienced in preparation of 1040, Schedule A, Schedule C, Schedule D, Schedule E, State of Michigan Return, etc. Must be personable, ethical and able to convey confidence QuickBooks experience Company Description We are a small CPA firm that provides a broad range of tax and accounting services to our clients. We are looking for a qualified accountant to join our team. Candidates must be detail orianted, self motivated with client focus attitude, and work well with a team.
