Mon-Fri 8a-5p $18-22/hr DOEThis client is a manufacturing company in Longview, TX!Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Welder Fabricator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 to $ 22.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Perform MIG weldingRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbolsFit, align, and assemble metal parts prior to weldingOperate welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and other fabrication toolsInspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracyMeasure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, and other precision toolsRepair defective welds and make adjustments as neededAssist with general fabrication and production duties as assigned.Welder Fabricator Qualifications:1+ years of previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferredAbility to read blueprints and welding symbolsExperience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devicesAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a teamApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
