Manager, Legal Operations and ServicesLocation: Morristown, NJ (Hybrid)Join Lonza’s North American Legal team and help shape how we operate, innovate, and deliver legal services. In this role, you will drive efficiency, lead key initiatives, and support strategic priorities.What you will get:The full-time base annual salary for this position is expected to range between $105,000 – $130,000. In addition, below you will find a comprehensive summary of the benefits package we offer:Performance-related bonusMedical, dental and vision insurance401(k) matching planLife insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability insuranceEmployee assistance programsPaid time off (PTO)Compensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledgeWhat you will do:Lead legal operations across North America, improving processes and how the team manages resourcesDrive legal technology initiatives, including matter management systems, legal holds, AI tools, and e-signature platformsManage and develop a small team of paralegals, supporting performance and career growthOversee confidentiality agreements (CDAs) and corporate governance activities across North American entitiesManage budgets, including forecasting, tracking spend, and optimizing legal resourcesCoordinate outside counsel, including engagement, fee planning, and performance analysisSupport strategic and sensitive projects, including mergers and acquisitionsWhat we are looking for:Significant experience in an in-house legal or similar environmentStrong financial and operational management skills, including budgeting and reportingConfidence using legal technologies, with interest in learning new tools, including AI solutionsAbility to manage priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, with the ability to work with internal teams and external partnersProven leadership and team development experienceHigh level of integrity, discretion, and sound professional judgmentAbout LonzaAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
