We're looking for reliable and hard-working individuals that take pride in their work. The Electrical Project Manager will oversee commercial electrical projects from preconstruction to finish. The PM will be responsible for the project's budget, scheduling, contract documents, safety, quality control, and customer satisfaction. The PM will also be responsible for managing all subcontractors on-site as well as directing the Superintendent.Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints, inspection reports, specifications, etc.Supervise trade employees and/or other subcontractors as requiredAssemble bid packets and select vendors for specific projectsCreate, submit, and manage submittals throughout the entire projectPrepare, organize, and manage material buyoutsNegotiate, track, and approve change orders in a timely mannerEnforce and supervise enforcement of site specific and OSHA safety guidelinesTrain and Develop assigned staffManage and supervise Superintendent, subcontractors, and vendorsManage multiple projects and tasks simultaneouslyCoordinate with Superintendent to ensure project completion to specificationsMonitor project costs and forecast future project costsAct as a liaison between trades and other departmentsProvide field employees with necessary support to allow the project to be completed on time and on budgetRequirements:Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related discipline, or equivalent hands-on project experienceKnowledge of NEC code requirements and safety guidelinesProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to read and interpret electrical blueprints and drawingsExtensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, takeoffs, change orders, and contractsStrong client relations skills are a must to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat businessEffective problem-solving skills, and ability to make time sensitive decisionsRelated keywords: project manager, electrical project manager, electric, estimator, electrical estimator, takeoffs, change order, bid proposals, commercial construction, construction project managerRelated keywords: project manager, estimator, superintendent, project management, change order, RfI, general contractor, commercial, commercial construction, ground up, new constructionFor consideration for the Electrical Project Manager position, please apply here or directly on our website today!
