The department is responsible for the design, development, integration, test and support to the production builds of multiple Raytheon products. We develop new technologies for advanced capabilities and provide support to all life-cycle phases of the best radar systems in active worldwide deployments and grow our people with exciting new challenges, on-the-job training, mentoring and purposeful rotations.We have an opportunity for a Principal Electrical Design & Production Product Lead seeking to lead the resolution of design, build, and test issues of REPA Receiver Exciter products.What You Will Do:Lead the technical investigation and resolution of design, build, and test issues identified on Receiver Exciter subsystems, CCAs, and components.Lead the circuit and sub-system analysis, modeling, simulation, and verification required to mitigate production build and test issuesLead the transition to production of REPA productsLead small project or processes improvements within your area of responsibilityLead circuit card and subassembly design updates to resolve obsolescence and producibility issues.Interface with suppliersThis role is 100% on-site and will be based in Tewksbury, MA. Travel is to be anticipated between multiple sites including Andover, MA and Marlborough, MA.Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.Experience with RF system, subsystem and/or component analysis, design and test.Experience leading analysis / Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations; Preferably with supplier and factory issues.The ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications We Prefer:Experience with testing and troubleshooting RF component/subsystem such as up-converters, down converters, power amplifiers, waveform generators, RF modulators, and limiters.Ability to assimilate inputs from multiple sources and derive design and operational requirementsBackground in designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost constraints, which includes yield and margin analysis.Technical writing and formal presentation experience.Experience leading and growing a multi-discipline engineering team.Experience working in both engineering design and production environments.Active / Existing Secret U.S. Security Clearance.What We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
