Bridge Engineer III

What You'll Do Complete assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided. Assist in the development of project specifications. Develop discipline‑specific engineering project elements such as reports, designs, and plans. Aid in the coordination and productivity of project team members. Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineering project team members. Work closely with other disciplines and on multi‑discipline projects. Perform quality control reviews of discipline‑specific engineering project elements. Assist with coordination and planning of schedules, hours, and distribution of work within discipline. Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience. Master’s degree in Engineering and 3 years of relevant experience. PhD in Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience. What You'll Bring Optimize work processes by using knowledge of the most effective and efficient ways to get things done with a focus on continuous improvement. Independently progress the majority of designs and tasks required of the discipline. Exhibit experience with Microsoft Office Suite, and MicroStation and/or AutoCAD. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the application of engineering, geometric and algebraic principles. Manage time, proactively forecast, and communicate project development needs. What We Prefer Master’s degree in Engineering. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. Professional Engineer (PE) certification. AICP certification (depending on discipline). Knowledge of MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer software. Knowledge of structural/bridge analysis and design software such as CSI Bridge, LARSA, FB MultiPIer, LPIle, MDX, OpenBridge Designer and other tools. Locations Blue Ash, OH (Cincinnati); Cleveland, OH; Columbus, OH Pay Range (Ohio) The approximate pay range for Ohio is $83,373.48 - $130,404.68. Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Pay Range (Nationwide) The approximate nationwide pay range for this position is $83,373.48 - $163,005.83. Actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
