Senior Bridge Engineer

Senior Bridge Engineer We’re looking for a Senior Bridge Engineer to lead technical direction on transportation design projects, with expertise in structural planning, analysis, and design for bridges. The role includes overseeing project quality, schedule, and budget; building relationships with clients; and acting as a key liaison between clients and the global bridge engineering team. Responsibilities Plan, analyze, and design bridge projects; prepare plans, specifications, conduct inspections, write reports. Provide technical leadership and expertise on high‑profile transportation infrastructure projects. Ensure project quality, schedule, and budget; manage project activities and resources. Serve as the primary contact between clients, the global bridge engineering team, and partners. Participate in technical societies and attend meetings or events outside normal working hours. Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, ensuring effective teamwork. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Ohio or ability to obtain Ohio license within 6 months of employment. Substantial progressive experience on a variety of bridge types (steel, prestressed concrete, curved, skewed, long‑span), including analysis, design, and plan development for new and rehabilitation projects. Considerable experience on large, multidisciplinary bridge design projects. Previous experience with Design‑Build (DB) projects. Advanced working knowledge of MicroStation, Excel, MathCad, structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, CSi‑Bridge, LPILE, MDX, Leap Bridge, LARSA). Experience mentoring engineering staff. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
