OBGYN Laborist

Jackson and Coker is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Ohio, offering an immediate start with ongoing coverage. This role involves in-house call and a variety of OB/GYN procedures, including high-risk pregnancy management and complicated deliveries. The position requires an OB/GYN with ACGME or AOA accreditation and offers a flexible schedule with 12- or 24-hour shifts. Responsibilities Low-risk pregnancy management (e.g., history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis) High-risk pregnancy management (e.g., toxemia, diabetes, class II or higher cardiac conditions, chronic lung disease, chronic renal disease) FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE) OB ultrasound performance and interpretation Level II / targeted anatomic ultrasounds Level I / screening ultrasounds Routine vaginal delivery Low forceps delivery Cesarean section decision-making Complicated deliveries including C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Compensation Weekly Direct Deposit Top Rated Malpractice Insurance Benefits In-House Travel Agency 24/7 Recruiter Availability Experienced In-House Privileging Coordinators Shift & Schedule ASAP – Ongoing Estimated credentialing timeframe: Approximately 120 days 12- or 24-hour shifts 7am–7pm, 7pm–7am, or 7am–7am Weekend coverage required In-house call coverage Requirements Board Certified OB/GYN ACGME or AOA accreditation in OB/GYN Active Ohio license - Highly Preferred DEA - Highly Preferred
