Location: 3019 Kensington Pkwy, Albany, GA 31707 Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Shift: Flexible (Mornings, Evenings, and Weekends) Job Summary At Courtyard by Marriott, we believe in "The Art of Hospitality." As a Front Desk Associate , you are the face of our hotel and the first point of contact for our guests. Whether it's a road-weary business traveler or a family exploring Albany, you will be responsible for ensuring their stay starts and ends with excellence. We are looking for a tech-savvy, guest-obsessed professional who can multitask with ease and bring a positive, solution-oriented attitude to every shift. What You’ll Do Guest Registration: Efficiently handle check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all guest information is accurate and preferences are noted. System Management: Utilize Marriott-specific systems (FOSSE and GXP) to manage reservations, room assignments, and guest requests. Bonvoy Advocacy: Promote the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, enrolling new members and recognizing elite guests for their loyalty. Problem Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for guest concerns, utilizing "empowerment" to resolve issues immediately and ensure 100% guest satisfaction. Financial Integrity: Maintain a precise cash bank, process credit card transactions securely, and ensure all billing is accurate. Local Expert: Provide personalized recommendations for dining, entertainment, and directions within the Albany area. What We’re Looking For Experience: Prior hotel front desk experience is required. Experience with Marriott property management systems (FOSSE/GXP) is a significant advantage. Flexibility: Must have open availability for a variety of shifts, including mornings (7 AM – 3 PM) , evenings (3 PM – 11 PM) , and weekends/holidays . Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional appearance and demeanor. Tech-Savvy: Comfort working with computers and multiple software platforms simultaneously.
