CNC Lathe Operator

Qualifications:
At least 6 months of CNC machines is required. Lathe and/or Mills bout the majority of the work at first will be Lathes.
Must be able to handle non temperature controlled production environment
Must be able to follow instruction and follow good document practices

Responsibilities:
Set up and operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts per work order/drawing requirements in a safety conscious and quality-focused manner.
The role is accountable to load parts in the machine, cycle the machine and detect malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools.
Utilize hand tools to deburr, de-gate, or polish and package all production in accordance with the router steps and stamp off operations before moving to the next operation.
The position runs productions lots, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.
HS diploma/GED Required
Training will be on 1st shift (630A-3P) until ready to be transferred to 2nd shift
