Job Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our client’s team as Junior Accountant. The ideal candidate has at least two years of accounting experience and a strong understanding of general accounting principles, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial systems.

Job Description

• Review miscellaneous revenue billing and process journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) transactions and invoicing.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Utilize PeopleSoft and other automated accounting systems.
• Assist with budgeting and other general accounting functions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Support month-end and other financial reporting activities.
  

Skills Required

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of general and management accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), invoices, and journal entries.
• Proficiency in bank and account reconciliations.
• Experience using PeopleSoft or other automated accounting systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required.

Additional Requirements

• Shift Time 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Pay Rate

• $37- $44 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
