We are seeking a skilled Acute Care RN for the Admissions Pending Unit (APU). This unit focuses on rapid patient throughput with an ideal length of stay of 4 hours or less. Nurses will be responsible for initiating admission orders, completing the admission navigator, and documenting the initial admission assessment.

Responsibilities:

• Initiating admission orders
• Completing the admission navigator
• Documenting the initial admission assessment

Requirements:

• BLS and ACLS certification via AHA required
• KS state license or multistate license required
• No hits on license
• EMR experience with Epic
• Comfortable managing cardiac and anticoagulant drips, such as Cardizem and Heparin
• No first-time travelers
