Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's needs and design personalized rehabilitation strategies to help them achieve their functional objectives.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply research-backed techniques to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
• Engage with Cross-Disciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic and comprehensive patient care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their caregivers about therapy methods to promote ongoing progress at home.
• Monitor Progress and Adjust Treatments: Keep detailed records of clinical outcomes and modify therapy approaches as necessary to ensure patients stay on track.

Education and Credentials

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement for continuing education and post-graduate certifications

Required Licenses and Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
